Well, another Thanksgiving has come and gone and truthfully the thing I am most thankful for is that it is over. I’m not a big fan of this time of year, I don’t like the cold weather and this whole period feels like a rush to January. If I’m smart this year, I’ll take a trip out to California or Florida and...
It’s probably weird to be talking about Thanksgiving in May.
I hate Thanksgiving (if you didn’t know already). As I’ve said in the past... I desperately want to lay down the day before Halloween and wake up New Year’s Day. People might think I’d be upset for missing the big holiday season but I wouldn’t miss it at all.
May is probably part of my favorite time of the year because it’s getting warmer, the days are getting longer and the baseball season is still very young.
I like that part of mid spring all the way until the end of August. It’s my time of year that I love more than anything. Baseball is there for listening and watching and every day there is something to read about the games and the seasons. The days are gloriously long... the sun rises early and doesn’t go down until after 8pm.
I’m writing this in late March so for me, it’s the beginning of my favorite time and I’m happy about it. It’s going to be great this year and the only thing standing in the way of that is because I believe that work and the situation with work will be something of a fuck up but hopefully I can make it a minor issue that impacts me like a blip and then moving into something better and putting a lot of stupidity behind me moving once more into a glorious summer that I will look upon as one of my favorite summers ever!
